Lean Back

Back in my middle school days, my science teacher used to tell us not to lean back in our chairs because of what happened to one of her previous student a long time ago.

There was a 5th grade boy, who loved to lean back in his chair while writing. One day the teacher stepped out of class to make copies of some worksheets and the boy was just working on his assignment as he was leaning in his chair. Next thing you know the teacher was calling 911 and the young boy was later on pronounced dead.

It turns out that the boy fell back and he tried to catch his balance but he accidently stabbed himself in the chest with his pencil. By the time the teacher came back to class it was too late for the young boy.
